Penelope Cruz is all smiles as she poses for photographs at the Chanel Haute Couture Fall Winter 2018/2019 Show held as part of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Tuesday (July 3) in Paris, France.
The Oscar-winning actress was joined at the event by Tracee Ellis Ross, Lily Allen, Soo Joo Park, Pom Klementieff, Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh, Ellie Bamber, Mackenzie Foy and Liu Wen.
It was announced at the event that Penelope is set to be the face of the brand’s upcoming cruise campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel said in a statement to WWD.
“It’s such an iconic brand and Karl is a genius, and I’ve been admiring everything he’s done since I was a little girl, so it’s such a pleasure working with him. He’s like the king of fashion and we had a really, really interesting photo shoot, so to be in front of his camera is an adventure,” Penelope told WWD.
